Information we handle

Account information

We process your email address, username, authentication session, and security events so you can sign in, connect Fractal CLI, and protect your account.

Project information

When publishing is enabled, Fractal Society stores the project name, prompt or product brief, execution graph, task status, agent attribution, collaboration settings, and related project metadata you choose to publish or sync.

Connected services

If you connect GitHub, we process the account and repository identifiers needed to display and synchronize your project. Coding-agent services you configure receive information according to your instructions and their own terms.

Technical information

We may process IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, error details, and security logs to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service. We do not use Fractal Voice microphone recordings for advertising or tracking.

Local models and downloads

Fractal Voice downloads verified speech-model files during setup. The current default model files are hosted by Hugging Face, which may receive ordinary download-request information such as your IP address and user agent. Model files remain on your Mac. Local project source code remains on your Mac and Git repository unless you or an enabled integration sends it elsewhere.

How we use information

• Provide accounts, project pages, execution graphs, collaboration, and support.
• Authenticate Fractal CLI and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Synchronize project state you explicitly publish or enable for synchronization.
• Diagnose failures, maintain reliability, and improve product functionality.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information and do not use personal information for cross-app tracking.

Sharing

We share information only with infrastructure and email providers needed to run the service, integrations you choose such as GitHub, collaborators or viewers authorized by your project settings, and authorities when legally required. A public project page is visible to anyone with access to its URL according to its sharing settings.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and published project information while your account or project is active, and retain limited security, backup, and transaction records as reasonably necessary. You may stop future project synchronization from Fractal CLI. To request account or hosted-project deletion, contact us using the address below. Local files and Git history must be deleted by you from the systems where you stored them.

Security and choices

We use access controls, single-use authentication links, encrypted network transport, and operational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure. Keep your email, GitHub, coding-agent accounts, CLI sessions, and signing keys protected. You can choose not to publish a project and can disconnect integrations you no longer use.

Children and international use

Fractal is a developer tool and is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards and law.
